Nicole O’Byrne studied the art of storytelling by traditional and modern storytellers from around the world. Most recently lived and studied in Galway Ireland diving into the art of myth making and shares her stories with the Wilderness Awareness School youth and adult programs.

Vala Arts Center is a group of wild, creative women that will be doing a live performance of their retelling of the Persephone myth from their book I Am Not Cursed. This dynamic trio presented at the Duvall Poetry Night in 2024 and is now ready to share their story with the wider community.
